Select Recipient


This screen is activated by pressing the TO: button under the FROM: field on the Compose New Message screen.

Screen Description:

Select Recipient screen

  1.

E-Mail Recipients Only - Places the name under the appropriate folder in the Mark-It Mailer.

  2.

Classification - Method for grouping contacts, i.e. Newsletter, 1 Million Dollar Club. Select a classification from the drop-down menu to display it in the Contact List.

  3.

To: - Sends an e-mail.

  4.

Select All - Highlights all the displayed records.

  5.

Select None - Removes the highlight from all marked records.

  6.

Search Field - Searches the displayed records based on the first available match.

  7.

Contact List - List of Contacts based on the search criteria.

  8.

Cc: - Sends a Carbon Copy.

  9.

Bcc: - Sends a Blind Carbon Copy.

10.

New Contact - Brings up a blank Contact Card.

11.

Properties - Displays the Contact Card for the highlighted record.

12.

OK - Closes the screen and enters the selected information into the appropriate e-mail fields.

13.

Cancel - Closes the screen without any changes.


Selecting recipients for e-mails can be done in several ways:

  1. Press the New Message button from the Mark-It Mailer toolbar or Message-->New Message from the barmenu.

  2. Click the To: button under the From: field.
  3. Select a name from the Contact List.
  4. Press the To: button to add the contact to the recipient list.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all recipients have been selected.

  3. Use the Select All button to highlight all records.
  4. Press the To: button to add all the contacts to the recipient list.

  1. Press the New Message button from the Mark-It Mailer toolbar or Message-->New Message from the barmenu.

  2. Click the To: button under the From: field.
  3. Use the Select All button to highlight all records.
  4. Hold the CTRL key and click on any contact(s) that you do not want in your Contact List.
  5. Press the To: button to add all the contacts to the recipient list.
