How do I Embed Images in an e-mail message?

Mark-It Advantage Xi Mailer works on one of two basic principles:

If the image is on the Internet, we just include a link and do not embed the image in the message.
If the image is on a local drive, we embed the image in the message.

Sending an image:

1.

Compose your message.

2.

Click the mouse at the location for the image and press the Image button.

3.

Enter the image information.

a.

Picture Source -

If you know the Internet address of the picture, enter the <http://picture.com/1.gif> address in the Picture Source field.

b.

Browse -

If the picture is on a local computer, press the Browse button and locate that filename.

c.

Layout -

Set the location of the file on the page by selecting from the drop-down menu options. You can also determing the border size for the picture by entering a value (0-999) in the Border Thickness field.

d.

Spacing -

Set the values (Horizontal/Vertical) for the amount of space that is between the message text and the picture itself by entering a number in the respective field.

Press the OK button.

5.

Send the e-mail by pressing the Send button.
