









































Business Builder – Lead Tracker:
INTRODUCTION:
The Business Builder – LeadTracker module is designed
to allow you to calculate the results of your leads. Each lead that you receive from others is entered into the Lead
Tracker system along with the source of the lead, result of the lead and other
basic information. When you convert a
lead into a client, the system automatically calculates your ‘Batting
Average’. Follow the directions below
to use this system:

The Statistics section allows you to track up to 10
different Sources of Business for each physical week of the month. The first 10 columns can be selected by
double-clicking on the column heading and picking the code and correct source
of business. Any other source not
fitting into the selected 10 items will be placed in the Other Column. The Totals Column shows the total number of
leads received for the week. The Deals
Column shows the number of leads converted into Clients or Deals. The last column shows the leads to deals
ratio.

How to Enter Leads into LeadTracker:
Each lead is entered on a separate line in the grid sheet
below using the following fields:
- The [*]
Field is used to determine if the lead was converted into a client - Press the [Spacebar] in this field to toggle the record marker
with an ‘X’.
- The [Day
of Month] field shows the day of the month the lead was received. When the cursor
is in this field a [Down Arrow] button will allow you to choose a date from
the calendar.
- The [Contact
Name] field shows the lead’s name.
You can manually enter the name or click on the […] button to select the name from the Mark-It
Advantage Xi Address Book.
- The [Source
of Business] field shows where the lead was obtained from. When the cursor is in this field a [Down
Arrow] button will display a list of Sources. If this field is blank, you can
Right-Click on the Grid Sheet and select Add Standard Sources to add the Sources suggested by
The Core Training, Inc.
- The [Referred
By] field shows the name of the person giving you the referral. You can manually enter the name or
click on the […] button to select the name from the Mark-It
Advantage Xi Address Book.
- The [Result]
field shows the result of the contact.
When the cursor is in this field a [Down Arrow] button will
display a list of Results.
- The [Phone
#/Email] field shows the phone number or email of the contact. When the cursor is in this field, a [Down
Arrow] button will display to select from a list
of contact methods if the contact was selected or entered into the Mark-It
Advantage Xi Address Book.
- The [#
Calls] field shows the number of times it took to get contact with
this person. When the cursor is in
this field, a [+] button will display, to increment the counter by
1 on each click.

Adding LeadTracker Projects:
The default LeadTracker project is named ‘Primary Leads’. This project name can be changed or
additional projects can be added as needed by clicking on the […] button
to the right of the project name.

- Click
on the [Add] button to add Additional LeadTracker Projects.

- Click
on the [Edit] button to edit the selected Project Name.

- Click
on the [Delete] button to delete the selected Project.
Note: The DEFAULT Project
cannot be deleted.
- Click
on the [Set As Default] button to make the selected project the
Default.
Note: Default means that it is selected
automatically.
Changing Months and Years:
Each time you open the LeadTracker module, it will
display the default project for the current month.

- To change the month, click on the down-arrow next to the
month to display a list of months.
- To
change the year, click on the double arrows at the left of the year to
decrease the year or the double arrows to the right of the year to
increase the year.
Changing Output Page Sizes:
The LeadTracker module can print in two sizes: 8˝ x 11 or 8˝
x 14.

- To
change the output page size, click on the down-arrow next to the page size
and select the appropriate size.
Printing a LeadTracker Report:
Press the [Print] button to print a LeadTracker
Report for the currently selected project Month/Year.

- Verify
the Export Media (Change the Printer as needed with the [Change…] button).
- Verify
the Direct to… Preview
is the Default.
- Enter
the number of copies then press the [Start] button.

- Click
on the [Cancel] button if needed.

Previewing a LeadTracker Report:

When you select Preview as the Direct To… Export
Media, a preview window will show as below:
